Boundless is a collection of 10 new tracks that were arranged and recorded during 2023. The album title reflects an experience of trying new things and stretching creative boundaries. While the official release is scheduled for January 2024, the songs are being distributed to the general public on all music platforms as singles on a pace of one song per month over a ten (10) month period beginning in October 2023. The entire album will be available once all the songs have been released.

In The Dark of the Night
How else to kick off my new album with its first single release scheduled around Halloween than to write a song about ghosts, monsters, insomniacs, thinkers, writers, and dreamers. (Releasing October 27, 2023)
No Reason Why
The mandolin is an instrument I’ve been trying to learn, and this song seemed appropriate for its application. The song is about not needing to keep searching for reasons. (Releasing November 17, 2023)
I’ve Been By This Way Before
I don’t know about you, but I get a bit sentimental around the holidays. This song pays tribute to a sentiment of peace for all. Originally intended as an instrumental, it relies on three simple chords enhanced with a recipe of a professional mixing engineer (in a professional studio) with access to a hyper-bits sound library. After hearing the instrumental, I overdubbed some lyrics appropriate to the mood. (Releasing December 15, 2023)
Boundless
With the official January release of the album, this title song deserves a different expression of itself hence the different song cover that aptly defines the scopeless genres in this album. It’s about stretching boundaries and exploring creative freedom to discover who we are. (Releasing January 19, 2024)
Cold Emotion
Thought I would juice things up a bit with this one. Had some fun putting it together. It’s about anyone who has ever loved a cold fish and despite the absence of emotion love somehow endures! (Releasing February 16, 2024)
Hey What D’Ya Say
About the closest I will ever get to writing a jazzy rock number is this arrangement. Interestingly, it builds off just one chord for the entire song. Even so, it is intended to get you up and get you moving in a sort of easy jazz kind of way…. (Releasing March 15, 2024)
Maid of Orleans
If you know the true story of Joan of Arc you will appreciate this song. It has a Celtic undertone, but it is an appropriate tribute to the courageous faith of a 19-year-old French girl who helped trigger the long end to the Hundred Years’ War. (Releasing April 19, 2024)
A Gift to the World
If we are lucky, we can experience the gift of a wonderful partner in life. This song is about women in general. My woman, your woman, anyone’s woman. But it really is about anyone of any gender, any color who is that one person in life who we have had the good fortune to know. If we are lucky, we get to have this experience at least once in our lifetime. (Releasing May 15, 2024)
You Never Said Goodbye
I wrote this song over two years ago but couldn’t bring myself to finish it. It is personal and emotional. I knew I needed to finish it and share it. So, here it is. Even today it is difficult for me to hear. It can be appreciated by anyone who has ever lost a beloved best friend. This song is dedicated to my father and is also in memory of my best friend, Tom Whyte who died on June 6, 2024. Releasing June 7, 2024)
Falling Down
Those of you who are familiar with the Cup of Tea album will recognize some similarity in the instrumentation and melodic background of this song. I remixed and remastered some older tracks from the previous album to come up with an entirely different arrangement written through the eyes of an American cynic. (Releasing July 12, 2024)
